Training Preservice General Educators to Collect Accurate Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence Data

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use behavioral skills training (BST) that included video vignettes used for modeling and rehearsal train preservice general educators how collect accurate antecedent-behavior-consequence (ABC) data using a structured recording format. effectiveness intervention evaluated within context multiple probe single-case research design. This also assessed generalization collecting correct ABC across narrative format, given format is commonly in schools. BST effective participants generalized skill These findings extend literature on as an can improve educators’ abilities. Practical implications future areas are provided.
